Catastrophic Failure

I first encountered this term when handling a software project I have at work. This term is slowly crawling with me to my bed and nightmares.

And so, I googled it and guess what! It's documented on wikipedia: Catastrophic Failure.

Catastrophic failure is a sudden and total (or near total) failure which not only cannot be recovered from (the system which experiences it may be destroyed beyond any reasonable possibility of repair), but also frequently causes injury, death, or significant damage to other, often unrelated systems.

I need a holiday. Looking forward to Chinese New Year!
