ESTablished to fund the arms trade?

Established to fund the Arms Trade?

As you may know we have recently discovered that Manchester University has invested shares in the arms trade. Campaigns against the Arms Trade CAAT has done a survey placing them as the university having the eighth highest amount of money invested in the arms trade in the country. Over 1.4 million pounds are invested in weapons companies.

There will be a general meeting on Wed Feb 15th at 1pm in the Union to vote to move on this issue. We need 300 people to turn up to even discuss this, so whatever side of the issue your on please come down to make your voice heard – and hopefully to make our university a more ethical institution.

What did I learned? BAE System has an enemy called CAAT, just like what Shell have.
